The Sony DVP-FX750 is a small, basic DVD player with limited features. At less than 2 pounds, it's very portable, and it includes dual headphone jacks and a kit for recharging it in the car. It won't recharge during playback, however -- a limitation that some users find frustrating. Like the pricier Sony DVP-FX970 (*Est. $125), this player gets good feedback from users for its sound and picture quality, solid construction and ease of use. However, it does have some drawbacks -- its 7-inch screen is smaller, its battery holds a charge for three hours rather than six, and it can't play MP4 video files. We also saw more complaints about reliability for this player than we did for the more expensive model. Both versions have the same warranty, which covers parts for one year and labor for 90 days.

As is typical among portable DVD players, the Sony DVP-FX750 has not been included in any professional reviews. However, we found roughly 200 reviews from users at Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Buzzillions.com. Many, though not all, are pleased with this portable player.
