Reviewers are clearly impressed with the Panasonic PT-AE2000U home theater projector. This LCD projector has the highest 1080p resolution, good picture quality, a wide range of user adjustments, good light output in its normal mode, lots of features, great connectivity and excellent pricing. Critics struggle to find faults, but do say that the blacks are slightly outdone by some competitors, such as the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 1080UB (*Est. $3,000). Experts say both are excellent choices, but the Panasonic PT-AE2000U is less expensive, quieter in operation and more packed with more features.

There is no shortage of reviews for the Panasonic PT-AE2000U. ProjectorReviews.com and ProjectorCentral.com are the best source for home theater projector reviews, and neither site disappoints. CNET's review isn't quite as detailed, but does a good job laying out positives and negatives. Playback magazine looks at the Panasonic PT-AE2000U in a well-done comparison with three other projectors.
