Broan offers three lines of Allure range hoods, all of which have a curved-case design that makes them a bit more stylish than most under-cabinet range hoods. The Broan Allure II QS230, rated at 300 cubic feet per minute, falls between the Allure I and Allure III in both price and features and is one of the most popular models. It is available in a variety of widths and colors. For the most part, owners seem quite happy with this range hood and praise the attractive design, bright lighting and relatively quiet operation. However, we read few comments regarding the Allure II's performance, and most weren't encouraging. The Broan Allure III QS330 (*Est. $330), which is almost identical to this model, has been plagued by performance issues that may affect the Allure II as well. If performance is more important to you than looks, the Kenmore 5234 (*Est. $145) may be a better choice.
The Broan Allure II QS230 isn't included in the professional tests we found, but the very similar Allure III QS330 is among the models tested by ConsumerReports.org in their 2006 report on range hoods. We also read quite a few owner reviews for this range hood at ABT.com, AJMadison.com and Epinions.com.

Several owners of the Broan Allure II QS230 discuss their experiences with the range hood in this recent discussion thread.
