Owners say that the smaller oven is more convenient to use because it's on top, and that it preheats rapidly due to its small size. One drawback is that this range, like many dual-fuel ranges, can be difficult to install. It requires a gas line for the cooking surface and a 240-volt outlet for the ovens, both of which must be located close to where the range will be placed. In one consumer survey, Jenn-Air dual fuel ranges are found to be repair-prone, but user reviews for the JDR8895BA are generally excellent.
