Owners say this range works well, and the self-cleaning function is effective. But some owners say that spills can get between the glass panels on the oven door, creating a difficult-to-clean mess. Be careful if you are considering upgrading to the more feature-rich version of this range, the Kenmore 96412 (*est. $800) -- it receives many owner complaints. The Kenmore is a smoothtop range. Another inexpensive option is to go for a coil-top range. This style doesn't look as modern, but reviewers say the Hotpoint RB757WHWW (*est. $400) performs perfectly well.
