Reviews say the Kenmore Elite 79462 is a high-quality dual-fuel 30-inch range at an excellent price. There are five closed gas burners on the stovetop, covered by a continuous cast-iron cooking grate. Gas gives you more nuanced heat control on the top, while the oven offers standard electric and electric convection heat for better consistency. The oven is self-cleaning, and the closed burner, continuous grate and removable controls ease cleaning on the top. The Kenmore Elite dual-fuel range is available in black or white (stainless steel is about $250 more). If you want a double oven rather than an oven and warming drawer, reviews are best for the all-gas GE Profile PGB918DEMWW (*est. $1,600).
