The Frigidaire Gallery FGUS2632LP is a side-by-side refrigerator with a 26-cubic-foot capacity and a reasonable price. It has far fewer features than the more expensive Samsung RS265TDWP (*Est. $1,340) , but it does include an electronic control panel and the through-the-door ice and water dispensers found on most side-by-sides. In professional tests, it gets excellent ratings for temperature control and very good ratings for efficiency, but its noise level is average. Users agree that this fridge can be noisy, but they love its ample storage space, which they say can accommodate large items like pizza boxes with ease. Although some owners like that the ice dispenser offers crushed ice as well as cubes, others complain that it shoots ice out too fast and is too narrow to reach into.
The Frigidaire Gallery FGUS2632LP comes in white or black, or in stainless steel as the FGUS2642LF (*Est. $1,260) . All versions have a one-year limited warranty. The stainless-steel FGUS2642LF is included in tests of side-by-side refrigerators at ConsumerReports.org. User reviews for this fridge are scarce, but we found about 20 at Sears.com, and a handful more at BestBuy.com and AJMadison.com. The annual appliance survey conducted by J.D. Power and Associates gives users' opinions of the Frigidaire brand as a whole.
