The Bianchi Infinito Ultegra is a top pick for serious cyclists who want excellent performance without a sky-high price tag. Reviewers say the Bianchi Infinito road bike is speedy, but that it's also more comfortable than many race-focused bikes. The carbon frame is stiff and does a good job of soaking up road vibration. You could certainly spend more for a lighter bike, but reviewers say the Bianchi Infinito holds its own against lighter (and more expensive) carbon bikes on climbs, descents and sprints. Most reviewers have nothing but good things to say about it. The bike comes with a full-carbon fork, a compact crankset and Shimano Ultegra components. If cost is a concern, experts recommend taking a look at the Giant TCR Composite (*Est. $1,950), which offers a carbon frame for much less.
Bicycling magazine is one of the only sources that test the 2011 version of the Bianchi Infinito Ultegra. Components haven't changed substantially since the 2010 model, although the wheels and tires have been upgraded. Even so, older reviews of the 2010 model are still useful.
