The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8 has been discontinued; a newer version, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 10 (Discontinued) is now available. Reviewers say the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8 is an excellent running shoe for people with average arches and neutral to mildly overpronating feet (meaning your feet roll inward a bit during running). Most reviewers say the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8 gives them a snug but comfortable fit and simply feels right, although a tad stiff. As with all shoes, a few owners say wearing them caused pain over time. Some are runners who claim satisfaction with previous generations of the Brooks Adrenaline say the latest model is less comfortable and less durable. Many heavier runners say the Brooks running shoe works well for them thanks to a good amount of cushioning.
We found the best reviews at Runner's World magazine, which had multiple testers use the Brooks shoes for a month each. We also found a message-board discussion of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8 on the magazine's website. RoadRunnerSports.com is a retailer website, but owner reviews are plentiful and sometimes sharply critical. ShoeGuide.co.uk publishes terse product reviews, but there is a broad frame of reference, an overall numerical score for each running shoe and charts that evaluate each shoe's suitability for various conditions.
