Where to Buy

Running shoes can be expensive, with some costing well over $100. The Saucony ProGrid Jazz 13, on the other hand, is an affordable neutral-cushioning running shoe that experts recommend as a good value. The ProGrid Jazz 13 is designed for runners with high arches and underpronators. It has a higher heel than many running shoes, which corresponds to increased cushioning in that area. Some reviewers say this provides excellent impact protection in the heel, and most wear-testers are able to achieve a comfortable fit. The Saucony ProGrid Jazz 13 also has a well-ventilated upper that keeps feet cool. However, the toebox is larger than previous versions, and some reviewers find this bothersome. If price is not a concern, more experts recommend the Brooks Glycerin 8 (Discontinued), another popular neutral-cushioning shoe.

The Saucony ProGrid Jazz 13 is brand new, so there are only a few reviews to choose from. Both the American and British editions of Runner's World test the shoe and incorporate wear-tester feedback into their analysis. User reviews are few and far between as of this point, but expect more once this running shoe has some time on the market.

2. Runner's World U.K.

The U.K. edition of Runner's World magazine gives the Saucony ProGrid Jazz 13 an overall rating of 4 stars out of 5. As in other reviews, the toebox is deemed too roomy, but testers are very pleased with the shoe's heel cushioning and responsiveness. Breathability is another plus.
