Brother CS6000i Review
Bottom Line

Sewing hobbyists can hardly believe such a bargain as the Brother CS6000i exists: A $150 computerized sewing machine that really works. It gets high praise for being extremely easy to use; even those who've been away from sewing for a while say they figured this machine out right away. It's a durable, high performing machine with a vast variety of stitches and settings. It does not have an automatic embroidery function, however, although experienced sewers say they don't need one.

Pros
  • One-step buttonhole; seven buttonhole styles
  • Consistent stitches
  • Nine included presser feet
  • Wide table attachment
  • 60 stitches; very even stitch performance
Cons
  • No automatic embroidery functions
