Low setting is too hot, November 15, 2009
We like everything about this crockpot, except for the fact that on Low it cooks way hotter than it should. We are choosing the correct bowl setting too. Much of our food ends up overcooked.
Lid doesn't fit snugly with 6 Qt stoneware, November 11, 2009

I ordered this slow cooker (Model# 33134) from TODAYS CONCEPT and they shipped me old Model# 33133. Also the Lid came with the cooker doesn't fit properly with the 6 Qt stoneware, but it did fit well with the 2 qt and 4 qt stoneware bowls. I was furious with TODAYS CONCEPT behaviour with the transaction. I returned the product and asked for a replacement. The customer service was arrogant. i sent mails to them for around 14 days. when i called the customer service once a guy picked up i gave hime the RMA# (return authorization#) and told him still i'm waiting for the replacement. He looked at my account and asked me "What are you waiting for?" i said i requested a replacement. He again asked me for the RMA# and then sang "Some body made a mistake i'm gonna correct it" and again "Some body made a mistake i'm gonna correct it" and again "Some body made a mistake i'm gonna correct it". I was surprised and said "Wow you guys are cool". He said "ya! Cool baby" and said he will ship it. No action. I waited few days and told them i'm disputing the charges with Amex. They shipped me the replacement but the same wrong model 33133 again!!!

Great, but prone to dying., October 22, 2009

Pros: Flexibility, great temp control Cons: Died after a year of use We used this slow cooker nearly every week for a year, and it worked really well for us. We used the 2-quart insert, mostly, but we did use the 4-quart insert a couple of times and it's great that we have the option on size. Easy to use, the temperature settings are superb (especially the "low" setting), and the inserts are easy to clean and durable. However, after using it for almost a year, the pot slowly died. First, you couldn't make your pot size selection (one of the necessary steps to having it start heating) without holding the button down for an hour or so. We used a magnet to hold down the button (tape didn't work). Then, it started to require you to hold down the button the entire time you needed it to cook. Then it stopped responding entirely. I completely took apart the machine to see what went wrong. I didn't see any residue from any liquid, so no sauce got in there, and the button WAS pressing correctly. In the end, we had to get a replacement from Hamilton Beach. This requires only sending in the end of the cord, but you also need to pay S&H for the replacement ($12.50). I'm really hoping it was a fluke and that the next one will last longer. "Renting" it for $12.50 every year doesn't seem like a good deal to me.

Great product., October 22, 2009
I bought this slow cooker for the versatility of having 3 different size crocks. It works well, is very nice and stacks nicely for storage. I love the "warm" setting. I am not disappointed at all.
I got a great deal and a lovely product.
Clever Concept., October 2, 2009

I love crock pot cooking, but one crock pot isn't enough as different recipes call for different sizes. This is simply a smart idea and I'm quite pleased with the product. I've been making a lot of recipes recently and so I was reminded that I should come on here and mention how well this has worked out for me. I've had no issues or complaints -- just tasty meals. A versatile, space-saving addition to the kitchen.
