Perfect size for 2 people, November 12, 2009
I bought this because the other slow cooker we have is too large for small batches of beans or soup my husband and I make for ourselves. The "warm" setting is perfect to keep soup warm on a cold day.
Cooks perfectly, but is very small, November 12, 2009

Be warned that this product is quite small, like the size of a small rice cooker. I live alone, and since I love to cook, this slow cooker is great for making meals when I'm at work. I have no qualms about the products functions itself, just that 1.5 quarts was a lot smaller than I expected. The typical carton of chicken stock is about one quart, so after adding that, there's hardly any room for meat and vegetables, etc. if you're looking to make a soup. Additionally, this cooker will NOT fit a whole chicken or a medium-sized roast, so be careful when reducing recipes. Lastly, the size makes it a bit difficult to mix raw ingredients like vegetables because there isn't a lot of area inside the pot.

A great addition to my kitchen, October 21, 2009
This product works very well. It's a great size and doesn't take up a lot of room. It's also small enough and light enough to easily move in and out of the pantry for when it's needed. I put the ingredients for my hot lunch in it at night, set it to low, and my lunch is ready to pack up and take to work in the morning. I have some very healthy lunches that way.
Couldn't be better!, September 29, 2009

This slow cooker is great, my wife and I have made several meals in it for the 2 of us and it works like a champ. I searched forever to find the perfect one and came across this to find the 3 things I was looking for: small for appetizers or meals for 2, has the keep warm option, and has a removable (dishwasher safe, easy for keeping food in the fridge) dish to make clean up a breeze. If you think you can enjoy it without any of those options then go for the others but I don't know why you would want to struggle to clean the entire machine if the stoneware doesn't come out. It doesn't take up a lot of space in the cupboards which is definitely a plus too.

Perfect Slow Cooker for Small Families, September 14, 2009

I've owned this slow cooker for over 7 years and it's still working as good as it did from day one. This slow cooker has cooked for me, my parents and sister in 2003, me and my boyfriend through 2006, and now me, my husband, and two kids presently! It's big enough to make wonderful soups, stews, and delicious slow cooked meats. I love making chinese soups in this slow cooker as I can put all the ingredients in the cooker at night, and by morning have a yummy breakfast (or an early lunch!) The ceramic serving pot is stylish enough to allow serving at the table. Highly recommended!
