Delonghi DFH132 SafeHeat Fan Heater

This unit is poorly made. The product hype says quiet operation, it is not... The fan is very noisy. We bought this unit to warm a section of our porch and we wanted the white color to match the porch… decor. Well, the unit is white but the cord is black. Why would the manufacturer do that? The controls are cheaply made and not very exact ... and the unit cannot be turned off entirely without unplugging it. It heats fairly well ... but I strongly suggest you find another brand.

For the very small sum that this heater costs, one can only give it top marks. It is best used in smaller rooms, which it can heat up quietly, and quickly. Given its design one can go to sleep with it on,… and not worry about smells, leakages, etc. Also, it's fine to use with kids around and no concerns on this front. It won't make much of a dent on larger, cold rooms, but for its low price, this is an unreasonable expectation. My only suggestion would be to include an on/off switch - currently plugging it in activates the unit. In sum, though, this small heater is a big asset and will very quickly pay for itself through lower heating (gas) bills.

I bought two of these heaters; one for my office and one for the basement family room at home. Awesome! They work great, very effectively keeping me warm. I especially like the feature that you can… adjust the temperature so that it maintains the room temp turning itself on and off. The only problem is that it works so well that the heat in the rest of my house doesn't come on because the house temp registers the warmth from this little heater.
