Better than I had hoped..., November 9, 2009

We had tried several different heaters to heat our family room with less than satisfactory results. We went through several oil filled heaters. They provided some heat, but very localized...not spreading throughout the room. They also seemed to fall apart after a couple of years. A neighbor had one of those expensive EdenPure heaters that is quartz based and she is very happy with it. We couldn't spend that kind of money and it also takes up too much room. I searched and searched finally finding this one reviewed in Consumer Reports. I always like to get another opinion as sometimes I find Consumer Reports wrong. We too the plunge and couldn't be happier. It makes a little vibrating noise when it comes on [sounds sort of like a fan on low]. That stops in a minute or two. What's the best is that it seems to push the heat out into the whole room. In conclusion, it's not the prettiest unit, but more than does the job for us. We may actually buy another for the garage to replace an older unit. Good choice. Bill in Seattle

Great Heater, November 6, 2009
I have this heater for a year now. I live in MN, which is -26 degrees. 2 of these actually heats up a whole large room. Very efficient! Highly recommend this heater. For it's price and power very good!
Great Floor Heater!, November 3, 2009
My husband recently retired and is actively working in his garage. As a civil engineer he had this product in his trailer, and welcomed its heat during the cold, rainy winter days. I surprised him by getting this for his garage to keep him warm on those chilly days. The heater is very user friendly, easy to turn on and off. I would truly recommend this product.
Great machine, January 17, 2009
Does the job of warming a small space perfectly. I use it by my TV chair in the evenings, or aimed at the kitchen counter area (where I drink my coffee) in the morning--takes the chill off nicely. Shuts off if you tip it even a bit--so very safe, and doesn't take up a lot of floor space.
Heater Review, January 11, 2009

This is a good product, heats the room completely. Its a little noisey, if you like it really quiet when sleeping, it can take a little getting use to but it does drown out the noise of barking dogs. The electronic theromstat works great, keeps my room at an even temperature, I've actually had to turn it down a couple of times or off in the middle of the night because I was too hot. Its bright, lights up the whole room when its on. I'd recommend it, works much better than any other portable heater I've tried. It did trip my power a couple of times and it automatically shuts itself off which is a nice feature.
