One of the very few compression-type bras made for women of larger breast sizes (C/D cup), the CW-X Firm Support Bra works very well, reviewers say, providing what one calls "maximum bounce control." However, a smattering of user reviews at RoadRunnerSports.com disagree. The Firm Support has criss-cross shoulder straps for limited bounce and even distribution of breast weight, but because there's no back closure, you have to pull the bra on and off over your head. User comments at several online retail sites say it's difficult to put this bra on and take it off. "Getting it off after a sweaty workout is a HUGE struggle," one writes. If you want a bra that's supportive but easy to get into and out off, consider the back-closure Moving Comfort Fiona (*Est. $45), which also has front-adjust straps to help you fine-tune a comfortable, supportive fit.
The CW-X Firm Support Bra doesn't garner as many user reviews as more popular models, but we still found about a dozen each at RoadRunnerSports.com and Amazon.com. Fitness magazine briefly highlights the CW-X Firm Support as ideal for D-cup wearers, and it gets a brief mention in a StilettoJungleBlog.com entry.
