The Ladybug XL2300's optional TANCS sanitization feature uses the minerals in tap water to disrupt the cell membranes of microorganisms for optimal sanitizing power, and a massive, 70-ounce stainless steel boiler provides more than an hour of continuous use. Fingertip controls make it easy to fine-tune the powerful steam output. A lifetime warranty on the TANCS-equipped boiler helps mitigate this steam cleaner's high cost.
A powerful work...bug? Reviewers say the Ladybug XL2300 with TANCS steam cleaner cuts through grease, grime and dirt easily. The optional TANCS (thermal accelerated nano crystal sanitation) system uses the minerals in tap water to destroy microorganisms, and qualifies the Ladybug XL2300 as an EPA disinfectant. The Ladybug offers up to 68 psi of adjustable steam pressure and a maximum boiler temperature of 295 degrees Fahrenheit, all of which make it a good choice for killing bacteria and mold in large areas, or easing environmental irritants for allergy sufferers. Sometimes it pulls out old stains that homeowners had long since given up on removing.
Refills with hardly a pause. The Ladybug XL2300 with TANCS's huge continuous-fill, 70-ounce reservoir is a big hit with reviewers: "I especially like the fact that I don't have to wait for it to cool down before I refill and that it starts steaming [again] quickly," writes one owner at Sylvane.com. The XL2300 weighs 16 pounds, but owners say it's easy to pull around on its caster wheels. The 6.5-foot steam hose is relatively short, but a 15-foot power cord gives you plenty of room to roam. Best of all, the XL2300 can run on tap water. The only real gripe: Some say the steam trigger button is a little awkward.
Lifetime coverage on a TANCS boiler. The Ladybug XL2300 with TANCS comes with a 13-piece accessory set and an onboard tool caddy. A pressure gauge, fingertip steam controls and low-water indicator are user-friendly additions, but this vapor cleaner's most important feature may be its durability. As the president and CEO of Boston Green Goods explains, "Ladybug steam cleaners are not cheap... but they last a long time, are very effective and have paid for themselves many times over." The entire unit is backed by a one-year warranty, with lifetime coverage on the boiler. If you purchase it without TANCS, the boiler is covered for three years.

More than 40 owners rate the XL2300 here, giving it an average score of 4.7 stars out of 5.
