There's a lot of buzz about fancy strollers from Bugaboo, Quinny and Stokke. These strollers, frequently seen being pushed by celebrity moms and dads, have made a big splash, but are they worth the high prices? Some cost $900, and that's just for a basic model without accessories.
Reviewers agree that these strollers are stylish, but that handling and durability isn't much superior to strollers that cost as little as a third as much. Less expensive strollers do just as good a job of carting junior around safely, but reviewers concede that practicality isn't the main reason most people buy a Bugaboo stroller. Rather, these strollers are as much about image as functionality.
