A unique feature of the Bumbleride Flyer is its reversible handlebar, which simplifies the process of changing the direction your baby faces, and reviewers love how easy it is to use. Both sets of wheels lock or swivel for easy maneuverability in any position. The handlebar is height-adjustable between 32 and 45 inches, allowing parents to customize it to their heights.
Buckle is easy for a child to undo. The Flyer has a five-point fully padded harness, but the one-touch buckle is simple for a rider to unfasten. This may lead to a fall or an escaped child if he or she slips out when a parent's back is turned. An included bumper bar adds safety.
Accessories make conversion a snap. Swapping out the Bumbleride Flyer's various accessories is a simple fix. An included universal car seat adapter snaps on in place of the bumper bar. The optional Snack Pack (*Est. $45) is similarly attached. The carrycot featured on the website and in several videos is no longer available.
The Flyer folds and unfolds easily, but requires two hands. It's a cinch to push and maneuver on flat terrain such as sidewalks and floors. Reversing the handle is effortless, and the wheels lock and unlock with the touch of a button. For the best maneuverability, either keep both sets of wheels locked or unlocked, or lock the ones closest to your feet and unlock the front wheels so they can swivel. The stroller has independent wheel suspension to enhance the rider's comfort.
Lightweight, but bulky folded. At 19 pounds, the Bumbleride Flyer is fairly lightweight for a full-featured stroller. However, its bulky fold may mean it won't fit in some car trunks. The stroller's generous seat width and height make it particularly well-suited for taller or larger children. Its wheels do well on smooth surfaces such as pavement and floors, but don't perform well on more challenging terrain. An adjustable handle allows your baby to either face you or outward, and a large sun canopy provides full coverage with a peek-a-boo window. A cup holder, rain shield and universal car seat adapter are included, and the Flyer accepts a variety of car seats. A "snack pack" is sold separately; instead of a plastic tray, this soft, zippered pouch has compartments for snacks and attaches to the bumper bar.
The Bumbleride Flyer has great lower and upper weight ratings, from birth to 45 pounds, and gets high marks for comfort for its ample, nicely padded seat and adjustable footrest.
Warranty is standard. The Bumbleride Flyer has a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
The Bumbleride Flyer is popular with parents for its reversible handle and superior maneuverability. As long as it fits in your car trunk, it's a great choice because it's not super heavy. Yet the ease with which a child can undo the buckle is a concern, and keeps this stroller out of our Best Reviewed spot.

Review Credibility: Very good Hollie Schultz provides an in-depth video review of the 2010 Bumbleride Flyer, demonstrating the updates from the 2009 model as well as the stroller's overall features. Although she says the length between the seat and the canopy can accommodate most 5-year-olds, Schultz isn't thrilled with the one-button harness release that older toddlers can easily operate. Bumbleride has discontinued the carrycot illustrated in this video.

3. Good Housekeeping
Review Credibility: Very good The Bumbleride Flyer earns a B rating in this test of 36 strollers by the engineers at the Good Housekeeping Research Institute (GHRI). No safety issues are noted, and the stroller gets points for its ease of use and stability. However, it doesn't do well on more challenging terrain and can be tough to fold.

4. Amazon.com
Review Credibility: Very good More than 50 contributors give the Bumbleride Flyer an average rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars. A surprising number of them complain that the stroller is difficult to push, although experts and owners from other sites say it's one of the easiest. One user explains that the rear wheels must always be locked, regardless of which way the handle faces, so it may just be an issue of owners not understanding the locking/swivel wheel mechanisms. Most parents love the stroller, saying it's durable and cleans up nicely. They also point out that it doesn't do well on more challenging terrain.

6. Baby-Gaga.com
Review Credibility: Good Baby-Gaga.com reviews and ranks 21 single, full-featured strollers. The Bumbleride Flyer gets a solid "A" as determined by durability and parent rating, although it isn't clear how many parents evaluate it. This older review doesn't reflect the changes to the swivel/locking wheels that the manufacturer has incorporated, so the stroller gets lower points for maneuverability.

8. Viewpoints.com
Review Credibility: Good About 10 owners give the Bumbleride Flyer a score of 88 out of 100. Reviews are relatively detailed, with owners saying the stroller is stylish, trendy and easy to fold. However, its storage basket is difficult to access when the seat is fully reclined, and a few parents say the Flyer is difficult to navigate over curbs.
