The Graco Mosaic umbrella stroller earns mixed reviews from parents and professional reviewers. Expert reviewers tend to be quite positive, while parents posting to user-review websites are more lukewarm in their evaluations, citing squeaky wheels and a rough ride on some surfaces. On the other hand, reviewers like this stroller's narrow build, front swiveling wheels and compatibility with Graco infant car seats. At about 20 pounds, this stroller straddles the line between a lightweight stroller and a full-featured one. If you are looking for a truly lightweight umbrella stroller, the 9-pound, no-frills Maclaren Volo (*Est. $130) is top-rated. If weight is not an issue, you might want to consider Graco's most feature-packed stroller, the Quattro Tour Sport (*Est. $170). The best stroller overall is the Inglesina Zippy (*Est. $350), but that stroller is considerably more expensive.

We found the most credible reviews for the Graco Mosaic umbrella stroller at ConsumerReports.org and its British equivalent, Which? magazine. Both sites rank strollers based on independent testing for ease of use, maneuverability and more. There's also some good coverage in the baby gear book "Baby Bargains," as well as some parent-written reviews at Target.com and Epinions.com.

Our Sources

1. Which? magazine

Which? magazine is Britain's answer to ConsumerReports.org, but testing here is actually more detailed, and about twice as many strollers are tested overall (not all are available in the U.S.). Editors and testers are impressed with the Graco Mosaic stroller. Despite its smallish wheels, it handles well. The short list of complaints includes an average storage system and handles that some parents describe as uncomfortable.

2. ConsumerReports.org

In this round of testing, ConsumerReports.org rates the Graco Mosaic along with more than 40 other strollers. Each stroller is rated according to how well it performs in tests for ease of use, maneuverability, safety and durability.

3. Baby Bargains

"Baby Bargains" is a popular baby gear book written by parents and consumer advocates Denise and Alan Fields. Their coverage of strollers is quite thorough, and they include the Graco Mosaic in their ratings, along with several other models from Graco.
