Peg Perego has done well with the P3 Classico full-featured stroller. Professional reviews aren't uniformly positive -- a few say ease of use could be improved -- but overall it gets very good marks for style, features and performance. User reviews are generally favorable too, with a few points docked for issues like a cumbersome fold and hard-to-access underseat storage. For a full-featured stroller, the P3 is lightweight, weighing only 19 pounds. Many strollers in this category weigh significantly more: The high-end Uppababy Vista (*Est. $670) weighs 24 pounds, and the budget Graco Quattro Tour Sport (*Est. $170) weighs 26.5 pounds. The Inglesina Zippy (*Est. $350) is as light as the P3, and both have height-adjustable handles, but owners give the Zippy better marks for maneuverability and easy folding.

The Peg Perego Classico P3 is covered by top baby gear reviewers "Baby Bargains" and ConsumerReports.org. The two sources complement each other: "Baby Bargains" write-ups offer substantially more detail, while Consumer Reports excels at rigorous testing and specific comparative ratings. We found more than 200 posts at user-review portal Buzzillions.com, along with some balanced write-ups on Amazon.com.

Our Sources

1. Baby Bargains

Denise and Alan Fields don't formally test strollers for this highly regarded baby gear guide, but reviews are compiled using research into brand history and owner experience. The authors devote a short paragraph specifically to the P3 Classico, and there's some extensive analysis of the Peg Perego brand in general.

2. ConsumerReports.org

The Peg Perego P3 Classico is tested along with 30 other strollers in this latest roundup from Consumer Reports. Testing is highly specific -- each model is rigorously evaluated for maneuverability, ease of use, features and safety -- but there are no accompanying write-ups on individual strollers.

3. Buzzillions.com

Buzzillions collects reviews from several different external sources, so there tends to be good volume here compared to other user review sites. The Peg-Perego Pliko P3 has almost 250 entries searchable by reviewer category (first-time parent, parent of two or more, medical professional or child-care professional). There's also a summary of the most commonly mentioned pros and cons.

4. Amazon.com

The Peg Perego Pliko P3 Classico gets more than a dozen owner reviews on Amazon, ranging from a couple of lines to a more critical analysis of this stroller's strengths and weaknesses. Mostly positive feedback on its style and functionality is interspersed with some criticisms about the awkward fold and overall quality.

5. Baby-Gaga.com

Baby-Gaga.com had a promising start with detailed, credible stroller reviews. Unfortunately, entries haven't been updated in three years. While there's a thorough write-up on the Pliko P3, testing and analysis was done on a now-outdated version of this stroller.
