Among full-featured luxury strollers, reviewers say the UppaBaby Vista stands out for practicality and value. Although it's not cheap, it is considerably more affordable than its closest competitors, the Stokke Xplory (*Est. $950) and the Bugaboo Cameleon (*Est. $980). As with the Stokke, the Vista allows babies to ride up high, close to mom or dad. Taller parents posting to user review sites say they also like the telescoping handles and no-kick rear axle. If you need to accommodate more than one child, the Vista can be equipped with a RumbleSeat (*Est. $130) second seat or Piggyback (*Est. $90) running board. The one caveat is that the extra-wide wheelbase can be a nuisance in cramped store aisles. Also, you may not need to spend so much: Although it's not as stylish as the UppaBaby, experts and parents rave about the much cheaper Graco MetroLite (*Est. $150).

"Baby Bargains" has the best coverage of the UppaBaby Vista, with expert analysis that takes owner feedback into account. StrollerQueen.com and BabyGizmo.com are more focused on demonstrating features than evaluating performance. BabyGizmo.com's video review does an especially good job of explaining exactly how the Vista works. Amazon.com posts a useful amount of owner feedback.

Our Sources

1. Baby Bargains

"Baby Bargains" reviews a wide array of strollers for its latest baby-gear roundup. The couple's analysis of the UppaBaby Vista takes into account reader feedback, brand history and the model's recent upgrades. The Vista is one of only two luxury full-featured strollers to make it onto the authors' recommended list.

2. Amazon.com

Amazon.com has about 35 user reviews for the UppaBaby Vista -- almost all giving it 4 or 5 stars (out of 5). The only consistent complaints concern the Vista's width and lack of full recline.

4. StrollerQueen.com

StrollerQueen.com describes some of the Vista's new fabrics and features, including the RumbleSeat and Piggyback additions. Author Janet McLaughlin is enthusiastic about the Vista, but she doesn't seem to have tested it or compared it in depth with other luxury strollers.
