Hard to close, sorry I bought it., November 3, 2009

I bought this stroller because many other moms I knew had it and loved it. Unfortunately I don't love it, and I wish I had shopped around more. I find it very hard to close. It seems to stick a lot. I also find that the other mechanical parts are stiff and hard to use. For example I switch between the toddler seat and the car seat adapter, and find that the mechanism for holding these parts in the frame often sticks and I have to force it down a lot. The same with the safety bar. I just spend too much time struggling with this thing.

over all - a great stroller!, October 28, 2009

just got the stroller this week and i am very happy that i bought it, i researched for a while, my dream stroller would be a Vista with 3 large wheels (instead of two large and two small ones). that being said i took it for a stroll and it was great! gotta love the large easy to access basket. the extra shade is a nice idea only when it is windy it doesnt really hold... i had to turn the seat twice to avoid the sun in my babys eyes. the graco car seat adaptor works great, i used the snap and go before and always felt that it is uncomfortable for him since it wasnt reclined enough. but with the vista it is just right!! light weight- i can carry it in and out the trunk without any problem. very easy to fold, very easy to change from car seat adaptor to seat to bassinet. easy to recline- one hand! i like this stroller very much and recommend it to anyone who is shoping for a stroller.

love my UPPAbaby!, October 16, 2009

We have the 2008 model in Alex (orange) color which I absolutely adore. I love the interchangable seats and am sad that my 5.5 month old has outgrown the bassinet! We used that A LOT for the first few months. When I was researching what stroller to buy I remember reading reviews that the bassinet can't be used on the floor separately because it collapses. That, however, is not true. There are two support bars you have to snap in place underneath the cushion. Once you do that, it's very supportive and can be set on the floor inside, which is great when baby falls asleep on a walk. Now UPPAbaby even has a bassinet holder, which is adorable. Now that my son's outgrown the bassinet I love that the stroller seat can face towards me when I'm walking him (though you can't fold it in this position with seat on). I also love that when he gets sleepy I can tilt the seat back and he's very comfy for a nap. The storage basket is HUGE, especially since I hang my diaper bag on the handle bars with straps that came with my diaper bag. The stroller is quite wide, so maneuvering in small spaces (i.e. many stores) can be tricky, but you do get used to it. My only real gripe with this stroller is the cup holder which is horrible (falls off constantly, with drinks in it!). I haven't come up with a solution for this yet, so when I have a drink in it I'm just extra careful not to get too close to anything on the side with my drink. But even with that one flaw I would recommend this stroller to everyone. In fact, I did just yesterday standing in line at the coffee shop!

Great stroller!, October 9, 2009

After LOTS of research on strollers, we bought the uppa baby, and we LOVE it! My daughter is now almost 9 months old, and it's the only stroller we use. I walk to downtown w/ it daily. We also go shopping @ farmers market and other stores w/ it. It is a bit wide, but for us that's not a big deal. We get comments on it almost all the time. I actually still use the basinette! She just sits up in it, and I keep a real close eye on her. Even though we have a small house out here in California, I sometimes roll the stroller in the house when she is still sleeping in the basinette from a walk. I love it, and don't really have anything bad to say about it except it's probably not the lightest stroller out there, but I don't mind yet. We even went to St. John and St. Thomas with the stroller.

Rock solid stroller, September 12, 2009
Stroller is a bit heavy for daily use. Bassinet is great to use in the house.
