The Valco Baby Latitude EX Single stroller gets good reviews from expert product testers, but is less well received among users due to quality issues. In spite of its good overall reviews, even experts agree a lack of cupholders is probably an oversight in a stroller that originally retailed for $300. While the Latitude EX is easy to push and highly maneuverable, it's a two-handed stroller in every way -- it needs two hands to fold, two hands to unbuckle the safety harness and may tip if pushed with only one hand.
On the plus side, it is comfortable for even older babies and toddlers and seems to be a good stroller for travel, as its fold is fairly small and it can be pulled along like wheeled luggage. Unlike most Valco Baby strollers, which generally get high marks for durability and quality, the majority of the few user reviews we found complain about quality issues with the Latitude. Even one expert reviewer said the stroller she received had a problem with its wheels. It was resolved quickly by customer service, but early quality issues seemed to be a trend with the Latitude, which may explain its being discontinued.
The best expert reviews of the Valco Baby Latitude EX come from Celebrity Baby Blog and Hollie Schultz of BabyGizmo.com. "Baby Bargains," the useful guide to baby products by Denise and Alan Fields, doesn't have an extensive review of the Latitude, but does discuss the Valco brand at length. StrollerQueen blogger Janet McLaughlin also tests the Latitude and provides some useful information. There are very few user reviews; because this stroller is an older model some older reviews may have been removed by consumer sites, as occasionally happens.

1. Celebrity Baby Blog
People.com's Celebrity Baby Blog has quite a few stroller reviews. Their review of the Valco Latitude is an older review. There's no ratings system, and models aren't compared with each other, limiting this review's value as a primary source. Features are well explored, however, usually with a child in the stroller.

2. BabyGizmo.com
Hollie Schultz reviews the Valco Baby Latitude on video for BabyGizmo.com, testing its features and ease of use with two children of differing ages. Schultz's video reviews are instructive, but don't take into account long-term use situations.

3. Baby Bargains
"Baby Bargains," the popular baby-gear book by Denise and Alan Fields, offers practical, useful shopping advice even when they don't review a specific model. Brand reliability and customer service are factored into the ratings. In their useful chapter on strollers, the authors discuss the Valco Baby brand in general and mention the Latitude stroller in particular.

Stroller queen Janet McLaughlin tests the Valco Baby Latitude, but as part of a long, unrelated anecdote that makes the review a little confusing. There are extensive pictures and some mentions of the Latitude's fold, features and ease of use.
