Experts and owners praise the Valco Baby Quad as one of the most versatile, easy to use strollers around. It's an all-terrain stroller with four wheels instead of three, making it particularly stable and yet suitable for all environments from rural to urban. Its base is a baby stroller, but it has two optional bassinets for newborns, a toddler seat for older babies or toddlers and a standing platform for toddlers. The only downside is that all of those options come at an extra price that could theoretically drive the original price of the stroller up to around $900. Even cupholders are extra.
Hollie Schultz has a very thorough review of the Valco Baby Quad on BabyGizmo.com. Janet McLaughlin also reviews the Quad on her Stroller Queen Reviews blog. The latest edition of "Baby Bargains" came out before the Quad, but the book includes good coverage of the Valco Baby brand in general. There are few user reviews, possibly because this is a fairly new stroller on the market, but those we found on an Australian consumer review site were helpful for assessing real-world usage of the Quad.
