The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 replaces a reviewer favorite, the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo. Bridgestone says its new sidewall and tread designs make the Revo 2 a grippier and quieter tire for SUVs and light trucks than its predecessor, with less rolling resistance, which can mean better gas mileage.
Owners and experts give the Dueler A/T Revo 2 high scores on dry, wet and snowy roads, although owners say it exhibits weaknesses on ice. However, it doesn't score as highly as the top-rated Cooper Discoverer A/T3 (*Est. $200) or Kumho Road Venture SAT KL61 (*Est. $145) , and the Dueler A/T Revo 2's 50,000-mile tread-wear warranty is shorter. Plus, the warranty applies only to passenger-metric sizes, not light-truck-metric sizes. The Cooper has also proven itself off-road worthy in tests, while we found no off-road tests for the Revo 2.
