In this detailed review for the Cambridge SoundWorks Radio CD 745i, Mark Fleischmann tests it with jazz, classical and rock music. Fleischmann says that a quality component system might outrun the Cambridge, but that few other table radios could. Radio reception is also excellent, though sometimes he found the bass a bit boomy.
