Google's Android operating system is now used on dozens of tablets. Android.com provides an overview of the system and details any new releases. Android 3.0 is named Honeycomb and is the most common OS on newer Android-based tablets. (Android operating systems have always been named after dessert items, in alphabetical order: Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich.)
