The Adagio Teas IngenuiTea teapot is the only brewing teapot that received positive reviews from tests and users. With this pot, loose tea leaves are placed within the pot and are infused while the water is heating. This compact model has a 16-ounce capacity, much less than the heating capacities of non-brewing tea kettles. Reviewers and users like this pot for its ease of use and easy clean-up. The manufacturer states the pot is dishwasher safe, but some users find the filter may break when placed in the dishwasher. As with other Adagio Teas products, we found the IngenuiTea sold at only online retailers like Cooking.com, RachaelRayStore.com, FoodNetworkStore.com, Amazon.com and Adagio.com (the manufacturer's website). If you're looking for a kettle that can heat water, consider the Adagio Teas UtiliTea Variable Temperature Electric Kettle (*Est. $60) .
Cook's Illustrated magazine provides the only professional comparison review of the Adagio Teas IngenuiTea teapot. We found an individual review of the pot in specialty food online magazine, TheNibble.com. Several user reviews can be found on Amazon.com and the RachaelRayStore.com.

TheNibble.com is an online magazine about specialty food items. In this older review, Karen Hochman discusses the Adagio Teas IngenuiTea. After a year of daily use, Hochman says this brewer radically simplifies the brewing of loose tea. The review shows stills of the IngenuiTea, demonstrating how the model works. Hochman's pros include its ease of use, its easy collection of the tea leaves, large capacity and thick plastic that works to insulate, keeping the tea warm.
