Sunbeam Tea Drop, November 15, 2009

Have had our Sunbeam Tea Drop for about 3 weeks now and love it. The people who say it does not brew a strong enough cup of tea are full of beans!! Before I got it, I was steeping my tea in boiling water for 15 minutes. There is NO difference what so ever between the taste of the tea. (I was using green tea) It is WONDERFUL not to have to go thru all of the extra steps and to have a perfectly brewed cup of tea in minutes. I'd buy another one when this one dies.

Birthday Surprise, October 25, 2009
I already own this Tea Drop, and have loved it since day one. My sister-in-law also loves tea, but was using a pot to boil water, and she was scalding her tea. My brother let me know how unhappy she was about that and I decided to surprise her. It was a huge success! After the first cup of tea, she called and texted me about how excited she was. Now we are sharing tea websites online.
Great if you don't want to bother with a tea kettle, October 4, 2009

I bought and destroyed (boiled dry) two $90 William Sonoma kettles before I found this. My husband destroyed the first and I couldn't believe how careless and absentminded he was and told him so. Then karma got me and another beautiful kettle was garbage. Clearly, I can't be trusted to boil water either. This makes decent tea and is very convenient. You can choose how strong you want it. Most important, for my family, you can leave it unattended for a long time without dire consequences even if it goes dry. I do wish they'd add an auto shut off feature, but even leaving it on for a long period of time has had no dire consequences (yet.) I'm replacing my current one after several years of daily use because it seems to be perma set on "light" tea recently, but for the $30 it cost when I bought it, it was well worth buying.

this product is amazing ... we bought it for my mother for mother's day and she's used it everyday since and the tea tastes better than the typical boiling water pouring it into a cup :)

i highly recommend it for anyone who is a big tea drinker
Avoid at all costs, August 4, 2007
Really poor product: The drip method didn't work for tea at all. Water not hot enough for making tea, filters too small/inadequate for tea leaves, continues to drip, drip, drip, awkward design for making tea, too small for even occasional tea drinking, too large for limited counter tops. Need I say more?
