Crest Whitestrips 3D White Vivid, formerly Crest Whitestrips Classic, is the most affordable whitening system from Crest. The new formula has a higher level of whitening ingredients – 10 percent peroxide gel versus 6 percent in the original formula – making it a tad more effective but also a bit more uncomfortable for those with sensitive teeth. The new formula requires a 10-day commitment to wearing the strips for 30 minutes once a day. Once complete, however, the results can last up to 12 months. As with other Crest Whitestrips products, testers are displeased by the associated drooling and say the strips are best worn at home.
Customer reviews posted on Amazon.com and Drugstore.com give Crest Whitestrips 3D White Vivid praise for ease of use and overall effectiveness. The original version of the whitening strips (Crest Whitestrips Classic) is also included in clinical testing published by the International Association for Dental Research.
