January 2009. The Sanyo Space Saving Toasty Oven SK-7S has a 10-inch by 10-inch footprint and is two "stories" high, making it a space saver for those with limited counter space (but enough headroom for its height). Reviewers like the compact footprint and say that the Sanyo Toasty Oven does a good job with toasting bread, heating up frozen pizzas, and toasting frozen waffles. The timer can only be set for 15 minutes, so you can't roast a chicken or do any other longer cooking in it, compared to a full-featured model like the Sanyo SK-VF7S (*est. $70), which only costs a bit more. The Sanyo toaster oven also lacks a temperature setting, although toast darkness can be adjusted. Due to the compact footprint, it only fits two slices of bread at one time. Reviewers also comment that it can be hard to clean. Despite this list of small annoyances, this toaster oven receives very high ratings from owners.

We didn't find any professional tests that included the Sanyo Space Saving Toasty Oven SK-7S. However, owners posting to Amazon.com, Epinions.com and Cooking.com give valuable feedback on performance and durability over time.
