If you have the money to spend and want a sleek, modern-looking sink-toilet combination that conserves water better than most low-flow toilets, the Roca W+W is ideal. This L-shaped unit attaches to the wall, saving space in small bathrooms. By reusing water from the sink, the Roca eliminates much of the water typically consumed by a toilet.
Innovative design. The Roca W+W combines a sink and toilet into a single unit, a design that reduces water consumption by recycling sink water to fill the toilet bowl. This single-flush toilet hasn't yet been rated for WaterSense certification, but it's a winner of multiple design innovation awards. There's no built-in bidet function and most bidet attachments aren't compatible.
The Roca W+W is a one-piece toilet, although the sink is a second piece. A unique L-shape design causes water to flow naturally to either the toilet or the main water waste line. The toilet attaches to the wall, making it a great space-saver for small bathrooms.
Uses 25 percent less water. The Roca W+W hasn't yet been included in Maximum Performance (MaP) testing or other independent tests. Because of its expense, there are no user reviews available, so there's little feedback on how well this toilet flushes and removes solid waste. However, editors at iGreenSpot.com say the Roca W+W reduces water consumption by up to 25 percent compared to standard, dual-flush toilets.
Ideal for small spaces. Because it attaches to the wall instead of sitting on the floor, the Roca W+W can be installed at any height for maximum user comfort. The seat is rectangular, which may take some getting used to for owners accustomed to the standard round and elongated seats common to most toilets today. The Roca W+W is backed by a five-year warranty.
