Overall, reviewers are more positive about the Image 19.0R treadmill than they are about other Image treadmills. There are some complaints about the warranty coverage (90 days on most parts), and Image's quality and customer-service problems cast a shadow. However, this folding treadmill has a decent-sized (55" x 19") belt and a good array of workout programs. It might be fine for light walkers who don't expect it to last forever.
The Image 19.0R treadmill is reviewed by a decent number of expert sites, including TreadmillDoctor.com, Weight-Loss-for-Busy-People.com and ExerciseEquipmentExpert.com. This machine also earns two radically different reviews from owners posting on Amazon.com. Although it has rated Image treadmills in the past, Consumer Reports has not included the Image 19.0 R treadmill in its latest round of testing.

"Long motor warranty and 90 days on the rest," the writer of this blurb says. "I wonder which part they think will last on this one?" Still, the Image 19.0 is described as a "very basic machine that is well packaged." Reviews at TreadmillDoctor.com are very short, but this website reviews more treadmills than any other source, and since the site does not sell treadmills, it has more credibility than others.

2. Weight-Loss-for-Busy-People.com
This weight-loss website recommends the Image 19.0R "if you're looking for a treadmill that can cope with daily, moderate intensity workouts as part of a fitness or weight loss program." Like other sources, though, the writer says the motor isn't as powerful as it looks on paper, and he's dubious about the maximum 10 mph belt speed.

3. Exercise Equipment Expert.com
This review warns that the 2.8-hp motor on the Image 19.0R treadmill isn't quite as powerful as it seems, since it's not continuous duty. Although the writer is fairly positive about this treadmill's features, he says there are better options in its price range that are more durable and have longer warranties (though he does not identify those models).

4. Amazon.com
The Image 19.0 R treadmill earns two diametrically opposed reviews from owners, one saying he's very satisfied with his purchase, the other complaining about Image's customer service after discovering a cracked rail right out of the box. Unfortunately, there just aren't enough reviews here to draw any conclusions about the Image 19.0 R.
