January 2009. In general, reviewers are big fans of Landice treadmills, even though they start at $3,000 and go up from there. The Landice L7 Pro Trainer is the simplest model Landice makes. Most reviewers bypass this model and instead review the L7 Pro Sports Trainer (*est. $3,000), which adds three additional programs and includes a heart-rate monitor and chest strap for about the same price. Highlights of both treadmills include a wide 20-inch belt (though the 58-inch length may be a bit short for some taller runners). They also have powerful 4-hp motors and high 400-pound user weight limits. One caveat is that the lifetime warranty includes loopholes that could cause you to unintentionally void your warranty. While all the Landice L7 treadmills get good reviews, we think that the L7 Pro Sports Trainer is the better deal since in includes the heart-rate monitor for about the same price.

TreadmillDoctor.com's review of the Landice L7 Pro Trainer is the only one we found that includes numerical scores for the treadmill. Other sites don't test or rate the L7 Pro Sports Trainer, but instead analyze features and comment on the integrity of the company in general. Examples of this type of review come from Treadmill-Ratings-Reviews.com, TreadmillSensei.com and TreadmillTips.com.
