January 2009. As usual, TreadmillDoctor.com has the best review of the NordicTrack T7 si. While experts here rate treadmills based on their own expert analysis, other review sites -- including Treadmill-Ratings-Review.com and TreadmillReview.net -- base their recommendations largely on a treadmill's advertised features. TreadmillTips.com reviews the entire NordicTrack brand, but not the T7 si itself. We found a few owner-written reviews for the T7 si at Sears.com.
For less than $1,000, reviews say the NordicTrack T7 si includes several impressive extras, including MP3 speakers and adjustable cushioning. Its iFit audio-coached workouts -- available on separate cards for an extra cost -- are one of its most popular features. The cards plug into the console to automatically adjust your speed and incline, while a trainer's voice provides advice and inspiration. Experts and users say the workouts really are motivating. A website, iFit.com, caters to iFit enthusiasts, complete with forums and blogs. As for the treadmill itself, reviews say the T7 si is reasonably durable and powerful enough for walking and jogging, but its 55-inch deck may be too short for joggers over 5-foot-10 or so. One reviewer says the T7 si's advertised 325-pound weight limit may be pushing it; he estimates 240 pounds is more like it. Finally, experts recommend buying an extended warranty to augment the T7's included one-year parts-and-labor warranty. In this price range, reviews are more likely to recommend the Sole F63 (*est. $1,000), which has a longer parts warranty and a slightly more powerful motor.

The NordicTrack T7 si is such an improvement over previous NordicTrack treadmills it "takes your breath away," experts here say, but they still don't include the T7 si on their Best Buy list. They prefer the heftier NordicTrack T9 ci for $100 more.

2. Treadmill-Ratings- Reviews.com
The NordicTrack T7 si earns a best buy rating here. Reviewer Fred Waters, a former treadmill executive, says the T7 si packs some impressive features for its price. However, he says the deck may be too short for tall joggers, and he recommends buying an extended warranty.

This site says the NordicTrack T7 si is the best treadmill you can buy under $1,000. The reviewers here do not identify themselves or provide much information about their qualifications. The review advises buying an extended warranty, but otherwise it is mostly a recitation of the T7 si's features.
