Vision Fitness T9200 Simple

Pros
  • Feels stable, comfortable
  • Good ergonomics
Cons
  • Overshadowed by competitors

The Vision Fitness T9200 is recommended in two professional reviews. This is a non-folding treadmill with a belt size of 20 by 54 inches -- wide, but a shorter than others in this price range. However, testers at Runner's World say the belt feels very nice for running, and elsewhere it gets good reviews for durability and ergonomics. The T9200 has a 2.5-horsepower motor, with a maximum speed of 10 miles per hour, and it adjusts up to a 12 percent incline. The maximum weight capacity is 325 pounds.

Overall, this treadmill is overshadowed by its competitors in this highly competitive price range, particularly the Sole F80 ( *Est. $1,500), which has a longer belt and a more powerful motor and costs the same. In addition to ConsumerReports.org magazine, which includes this treadmill in its most recent roundup, the Vision Fitness T9200 Simple treadmill is reviewed by Runner's World magazine.

Our Sources

1. ConsumerReports.org

ConsumerReports.org tests two dozen treadmills, including the Vision Fitness T9200, a non-folding model. Treadmills are rated for durability, ease of use, ergonomics and more.

2. TreadmillDoctor.com

Editors don't have a whole lot to say about the Vision T9200, other than to call it a "home run." Editors don't give it a Best Buy rating in its price category.

3. Runner's World

The Vision T9200 is one of nine treadmills included in this roundup. These treadmills aren't rated or ranked, but each gets a few commends from testers. Here, the running surface is said to be comfortable and firm. But the "Simple" version includes no programs (you'll have to upgrade to a pricier version to find those). Testers gripe that the display, though large and easy to read, displays only one metric at a time.
