Weslo Cadence G-25

Pros
  • Besides its super-budget price, reviewers like that the Weslo Cadence G25 folds vertically for storage, and it does have a large display screen.
Cons
  • Most reviews say you should save up for a better quality treadmill than the Weslo Cadence G25. The Weslo's 43" x 13" belt is uncommonly small, and the warranty is only for 90 days.

Generally, reviewers are not kind to the Weslo Cadence G25, tending to cite its inferior quality, weak stability and lack of features -- even for its super-budget price. Among other shortfalls, the belt of the Cadence measures just 43" x 13", compared to the 55" x 20" (or longer) belts of other models. This means the outsides of your feet can never be more than 13 inches apart, or you'll step on the side rails. Experts say the 43-inch belt length will barely accommodate a walking stride.

We found the most reliable review of the Weslo Cadence G25 at TreadmillDoctor.com, which reviews more treadmills than any other source. We also found some research at Treadmills-Ratings-Reviews.com, Treadmill-Resource-Center.com and TreadmillTips.com. Unfortunately, Consumer Reports does not include the Weslo Cadence G25 in its recent roundup of treadmills, which includes mainly models that cost more than $1,000.
