Experts say a 19-inch TV screen is ideal for bedroom viewing, and the Sharp LC-19DV22U LCD TV-DVD combo excels in its size class. Unlike the 15-inch Toshiba 15DLV77 LCD-DVD (Discontinued), the Sharp LC-19DV22U is a widescreen HDTV model with a native resolution of 1440 by 900 pixels. The built-in DVD player is progressive-scan, but it can't scale standard DVDs to HD resolution. Reviews of this LCD-DVD combo are generally good, but we did see some complaints that the Sharp is slow when changing channels.
We found reviews of the Sharp LC-19DV22U TV-DVD combo at Amazon.com and NewEgg.com, where about 20 owners offer opinions.
