The picture quality is first rate, though the non-tilting stand and limited vertical viewing angle can make finding a good spot for it tricky. Built-in sound is on the thin side, but you can easily hook up the LC-26DV24U to an external audio system for room filling volumes and full surround sound effects. If you'd like to scale up to a bigger screen TV-DVD combo, experts and owners highly praise the 32-inch LG 32LG40 (*est. $635).
