Game compatibility
Microsoft maintains a list of older Xbox games that can be played on the Xbox 360, assuming the appropriate software emulator is installed (one is required for each game). Backwards-compatibility also requires a disk drive.
The new PlayStation 3 consoles are not backwards-compatible with PS2 games. Find out more about compatibility on the PS3 spec page.
