Reviews say the KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker has an advantage in that it can cook two waffles at once. Otherwise, this iron has a few other extra features not available in less-expensive models, including a digital timer, safety shutoff and rotating clamshell design. Owners estimate it takes 3.5 minutes to cook two waffles using this waffle iron, and those with families say it can make breakfast for several people in 15 minutes or less. Although the KitchenAid waffle iron is very expensive, most owners say you get what you pay for, and the KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker delivers consistent hotel-quality results. Unfortunately, the unit is very large and heavy, and reviewers say it is difficult to move and takes up considerable counter space. If you don't need to make two waffles at once, a cheaper alternative is the VillaWare V2002 Uno Classic Round Waffler (*Est. $45).

The KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker is featured in Good Housekeeping's short review of waffle irons, and numerous detailed user reviews are available at Amazon.com, Buzzillions.com, Cooking.com and Epinions. Reviews for this waffle iron are very positive overall, but some owners report problems with defective equipment. In most cases, owners report that KitchenAid's "no-hassle" warranty service makes up for the inconvenience, but a few say they experienced substantial delays in receiving a replacement waffle iron.
