February 2009. Consumer Guide reviews the Frigidaire FEB30S5D. One owner gives a review at Buzzillions.com, and several more report on similar gas-powered versions. Another owner gives her report at AJ Madison.

If you're looking for a budget wall oven and don't need convection, the 30-inch Frigidaire FEB30S5D is a bare-bones oven that reviewers say produces impressively even cooking and browning despite its lack of convection fans. It uses a radiant dual-heat system to improve browning and maintain more even temperatures in the oven, and it does have a self-cleaning feature and large glass viewing window. A Sabbath mode feature allows it to be pre-programmed in advance. There are several versions of this model, which is available in white and black, and (for about $200 more) stainless steel. If you want convection and more features, consider the Frigidaire Gallery GLEB30S9FS (*est. $1,200).
