Like the larger LG WM3987HW (*Est. $1,600) , the LG WM3455HW is an all-in-one washer-dryer, combining a front-loading washing machine with a condensing dryer. This 24-inch-wide model can fit into small spaces, and installation is simple: it runs on a standard 110-volt outlet, with no venting required. However, its capacity is only 2.3 cubic feet, which is smaller than a full-sized washer. Like the larger LG, this washer-dryer can take a long time to run a cycle -- anywhere from one to five hours. On the plus side, you don't need to be there during that time: You can just load in the clothes and walk away. While this model earns praise from users for its cleaning and drying performance, we saw several complaints about excessive vibration. Some users say that careful leveling and installing rubber feet under the washer's legs can alleviate this problem. We also saw some complaints that clothes come out wrinkled, although some users say this is only a problem if you overload the machine.

The LG WM3455HW does not get as many reviews from users as the larger LG WM3987HW, but we did find about 55 reviews at sites such as LivingDirect.com and AJMadison.com.
