Most owner-written reviews of this lever-style wine opener say the Screwpull Elegance is fast, well constructed and pleasing to the eye. However, a few users call it overpriced and at least one says it's heavy. The metal handles make this wine opener durable, but the body is made of plastic. While the Screwpull Elegance is easily the best luxury lever wine opener, we also found great reviews for the Vacu Vin Corkscrew Winemaster wine opener (*Est. $40). The price difference is hard to ignore.
