Best Bluetooth headphones for music
- Good sound quality
- Affordable
- Lightweight
- Some don't find them comfortable
- Bulky Bluetooth transmitter
- Artificial bass boost
Reviewers praise the Logitech FreePulse's sound quality and value. Despite their behind-the-ears style, they're lightweight. Comfort appears to be subjective with these headphones. Opinions on bass sound quality are mixed. Some feel it's weak, while others like it. The Logitech FreePulse sports a bass boost, but some think it produces an artificial sound. An included Bluetooth adapter plugs into the mini-headset jack of most home and portable stereo devices. The Plantronics Pulsar 590A headphones (*est. $115) also include a Bluetooth transmitter, but while sound quality and comfort are judged good, they're bulkier and more expensive than the FreePulse headphones.
You can find detailed reviews of the Logitech FreePulse in lots of places, and the ones at CNet.com, PC Magazine, PocketNow.com and Digital Trends are all worth a look. If you have a subscription, the British magazine Which? also has a review online that provides insight. Amazon.com is the best destination for reading user reviews.

1. CNET
CNet's Donald Bell approves of the Logitech FreePulse headphone's light weight, comfort and durability. He rates the sound quality, including bass, good for everyday use. Range is good, though he notes occasional split-second dropouts (common, he says, with Bluetooth headphones).

Jamie Lendino compares the Logitech FreePulse with Etymotic Research's ety8 (*est. $250) and finds music quality falls short. But this is understandable, given the price difference. Comfort was an issue, and Lendino complained of the bulky transmitter. Overall, Lendino says, these are good headphones for everyday listening with a decent battery life.

3. Which? (UK)Details/Subscribe
The editors at Which? magazine test the Logitech FreePulse headphones and rate them highly for their light weight and minimal sound leakage. Sound quality is average for wireless headphones. Though the Logitech FreePulse comes with multiple connectors to fit several different devices, the editors feel they're "a little fiddly to use."
