Bottom Line

Although it doesn't support the latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi protocols, the Netgear WNDR3700 wireless-N router is far from obsolete. It supports virtually every Wi-Fi client out there, offering terrific throughput and good range. It's slow when reading or writing to attached storage devices like an external hard drive, however, so don't expect to use it as part of an effective network attached storage (NAS) solution. Still, for those not quite ready to live on the cutting edge, the WNDR3700 is among the best wireless-N routers you can buy.

Ease of use

Pros
  • Easy to set up
