The setup of this wireless router is very very complicated, September 10, 2009
When I setup this router, it always has many problems. It took me a lot of hours to set it up.

When use it, sometimes the wireless signal drop down.
Not Mac Friendly, September 5, 2009
Despite the product descriptions stating the TRENDnet TEW-631BRP, "works with Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista, Linux and Mac OS," the setup disc provided with the product ONLY works with Windows. Trendnet provides NO SUPPORT for a Mac user.
Review of TEW-631brp, August 29, 2009
Its a good product but overpriced...The advertisement of increased range is a fantasy. Its easy to set up and fine but its no better tha another brand which is about $30 less
Piece of Garbage., August 5, 2009

I have to reset this damned thing every day - in fact, twice a day (remove power plug; use software to find a new IP address) For the last week, it goes out 2x per day. Its done this since we got it, approx 2 - 3 months ago. It worked for about 1 month, and sporadically went out - every few days we'd have to reset it, and blamed it on the cable Co.; then it increased to every day. now its 2x per day. The router is on the 3rd floor; i work from home, so twice a day i get interrupted when the internet craps out, have to walk up 3 flights of stairs, reset it (5 min) and go back to figure out what i was doing. I know, its not a ton of work; but a $80 router is supposed to last longer than 1 month.

Trendnet router great also their CSRs are engiering students...best i've ever experienced...i'm buying Trendnet gear now because, July 31, 2009

Using Trendnet gear for wireless in my ThinkPad (T60) and Desktop system because of the customer service people....[...]. Not to get too geeky but have an advanced degree in said subject matter and thesis was in that stuff...pay the little extra and get the "N" draft stuff...the extra through-put and phoneme perception is worth the little bit extra...even also ordered, the new Trendnet PCI adapater for one of my desktop systems and will move it into the corner of my bedroom to have another dual monitor system...it's the wireless Trendnet PCI card equipped system mentioned previously. Just don't want to have patch cords lying along hallways...hard wired are superior for sure; however, don't have the ability to crawl up into the attic and wire the connections...(medical issues) and don't wish to spend the $$ to get it done right. Trendnet's (and "Draft N" had given me the gizmachis to try this solution since the Draft "N" connection on my notebook (ThinkPad T60)seems pretty strong connecting to the TrendNet wireless router...and I have the cehapest and lowest DSL bandwidth so it's a first step and seems going strong. How fortunate to have all this taken care of when you first build...; however, they didn't even have the ubiquitous internet when they built this structure, so I'm left with back-filling with less than frist rate stuff. If only laser carriers were common for home-based internet connections. Anyone please comment if you have some suggestions that can be easily implemented for a few hundred USD or less...Grateful...enbeeuu.
