Womens Shaver Review
Comparing reviews of women's shavers
The best reviews of women's shavers attempt to answer the obvious question: whether there's any difference between men's and women's shavers other than the color and packaging. We were especially impressed with tests by UK's Which? magazine, in which men and women tested disposable and nondisposable razors, including razors designed specifically for women. Australia's Choice magazine asks 141 women to test epilators, waxes and other hair-removal options, but razors aren't tested. Because the pain factor is widely acknowledged with epilators, we find comments at Choice about pain most helpful, and we questioned why ConsumerReports.org did not consider the pain factor in its testing. ConsumerReports.org asks just 11 women to test electric razors and epilators. ConsumerReports.org editors and other reviewers also put battery-powered vibrating razors and five-bladed razors to the test, judging whether they are better than their nonpowered counterparts with three blades.
User ratings are extremely helpful in judging women's shavers and other hair-removal tools. Hundreds of women comment at Amazon.com, Viewpoints.com and other sites, focusing on easy of use and discomfort for razors, epilators and electric shavers.
