What reviews like:
Almost all reviews say the 2007 Nissan Sentra has an incredibly quiet cabin, even at higher speeds. Most reviews say handling is competent and predictable, if not exciting. Some testers say the Nissan Sentra is just a good-quality, un-flashy practical car. What reviews don't like: Exterior and interior styling aren't highlights in most reviews of the 2007 Nissan Sentra, even though the car was redesigned for the 2007 model year. The major complaint is that the Sentra just isn't much fun to drive. Rear-seat comfort is also criticized, and fuel economy is just average. EPA fuel economy estimate: 28 to 29 mpg/city, 34 to 36 mpg/highway, depending on engine 2007 Nissan Sentra review highlights According to reviews, the 2007 Nissan Sentra is a solidly average compact car, falling below the class-leading Honda Civic (*est. $14,810 to $21,290). While reviews appreciate the Sentra's improvements -- including a larger body, more interior room, and a new engine -- exterior and interior styling are not notable, handling isn't exceptional, and the rear seat is only comfortable for short trips. Most reviews do say that the 2007 Nissan Sentra is a competent and quiet car -- but it's just not fun to drive. The best, most insightful review for the redesigned 2007 Nissan Sentra is a six-car comparison test at Car and Driver. Unfortunately, the Sentra finishes last. Comparative reviews such as the one in Car and Driver give us the best picture of a car, since it's evaluated in the company of its likeliest competitors. We also found a nicely balanced (but not comparative) review at IGN.com. Road tests at Consumer Guide and AutoChannel.com are helpful, and a quick review at CarCritic.com generally concurs with other reviews.
